Camo is starting to become one of those prints that everyone has in their closet. It’s become a wardrobe staple! If you don’t have some in your closet, then what are you really doing? Just kidding, but really? If it’s not in your closet or you’re looking for a unique way to style camouflage, then look no further. I bring to you, my comfortable and chic camouflage look.
I have to be frank with you all. I am not rich as a lot of the fashion bloggers and influencers that are in this industry. I still work a 9-5 work schedule and have to budget for clothing, photography and other imperative expenses of maintaining my blog. Every outfit I capture will not be draped in gucci. Instead it will be looks that are affordable, budget friendly but also fabulous and chic.
(I look so serious here for no reason lol)
I do a lot of online shopping and happened to stumble across this number online at zara.com. Something about it really stood out to me. Do you guys ever look at a top and start styling the top to see which looks can go with it in your head? Yup, I am a true stylist and that’s exactly what I did with this top. I am always putting outfits together as I am considering buying a piece. I actually encourage everyone to practice this as they are shopping. If I can’t put together at least 3-4 looks together in my head, I will put the item down. There’s just no use.
Versatility is so important in your wardrobe. This method also brings me back to a lecture during one of my economic classes, where my professor stated,”The benefit of a product should always exceed the cost” Probably the only thing that resonated with me in that class. Anyway, I keep this quote with me any time I am shopping. Can I style this top several different ways? If yes then the benefit of the good certainly exceeds the cost in my eyes if it can be worn in several ways!
I decided to pair this top with my favorite faux leather leggings because it’s a different look and I did not want to resort to pairing it with a pair of ripped jeans or regular denim. That look was too predictable to me. My faux leather pants are from H&M and my shoes are from Zara as well. Some other great ways this top could be styled is with a long denim skirt(with the shirt tucked in, one half in the other half out), with a wide leg pants, black leather skirt, or velvet flared pants! The possibility of looks are endless those were just some four to name a few. What are some ways you guys like to style your camouflage? Would love to hear how you style it up! Leave a comment below.
