It’s March and the snow is still coming!? Something is terribly wrong with this picture! I am praying for the warm sunny days! Since it’s still winter, we should discuss some different ways you can style neutrals when it’s chilly outside. I am not a big minimalist when it comes to dressing. I tend to resort to this style on a lazy day when I have a lot of running around to do. I run errands and still want to look simple and stylish! Am I the only one? I have no shame 🙂 You can get so creative when styling your neutrals in the winter. I like to play around with neutral hues in my ensemble instead of resorting to the monochromatic look.
For this particular look, I paired my off the shoulder top from Babes and Felines with my black pants. To go over it, I grabbed my grey duster trench coat to give a sleek/chic touch to it. You can never go wrong with a minimalist look. The key to styling neutrals is the winter is to play around with neutral hues in your ensemble, especially if you were wanting to stray away from the monochromatic look. All black is great, but I urge you to mix up your neutrals! If you enjoy being stylish and looking good but also still want to be simple, try mixing up neutral hues in your outfit! Just to give you some inspiration for your own looks, try playing with a black top, and a dark olive green pair of pants or grey top, black bottoms, and beige trench coat along with white comfy sneakers or slip on sneakers. Now this sounds like a stylish, simple, and balanced look. Hope you all enjoyed the simplicity of this look! Let me know what you think!
