The Fall chilly season is heavily upon us and soon we will be entering the freezing months. Before then I would like for us to touch on some essential pieces to have in your fall wardrobe that will transition into the winter season. Some of the fall trends in my opinion aren’t pieces that can be easily incorporated into your fall wardrobe so I’d rather focus on practicality. I’ve never been one to leap towards trends. If I see a trend I like, I will rock it till the end of time. Don’t feel you need to succumb to styles because it’s trending and celebrities are seen rocking it left and right. Below are some of the essentials to have in your fall wardrobe that will allow you to create outfits with ease and style this season. Let me know if you will be incorporating some of these styles in your wardrobe. These essentials will certainly get you through fall and transitioned into the winter season with no problem!
Hounds tooth is such a classic fabric. It exudes an elegant touch and you feel like such a boss when you have it on. It’s the perfect go to fabric to have when you’re wanting to fuse elegance and chic in one piece. My next tip is to find a dress that includes the perfect silhouette for your body type. Similar to the one I have on.
Printed Blouse: Printed blouses are a unique touch to your outfit. I especially love incorporating printed blouses with my work looks. I tend to get easily bored with dressing for work, and printed blouses are one way I can spice up the outfit without going over the top.
Leather Jacket (Faux Leather for me): This is just a simple wardrobe staple. If you don’t have versatile and chic leather jacket in your wardrobe it’s time for you to finally incorporate into your wardrobe! You don’t want to be without one in your wardrobe. It’s convenient to throw on and it makes any simple outfit stand out. These are my go to on lazy days when I want to put minimal effort to my looks.
Denim Jeans: Multiple pair of denim jeans are a major key. They are an easy go to and you also want to ensure you have comfortable jeans that fit properly. I prefer a mid rise jean. I like for my jeans to feel like I have nothing on. I’ve recently found luck at Nordstrom Rack with a comfortable pair of Tahari jeans.
Leather Leggings: Great Alternative to denim. I like to play around with my bottoms. I grow easily bored of wearing denim all the time. Leather also exudes an edgy vibe that I live for.
Suede Leggings: Another great alternative to denim. Suede is comfortable, edgy, and cute! Why not incorporate this style into your looks? You can easily pair suede leggings with a cute oversized sweater.
Chic/Versatile Booties: Booties booties, oh the wonderful benefits that booties bring! You can pair them with so many different looks. I wear booties over sneakers because it’s more fashion forward.
Black Ripped Denim Jeans: I love having multiple options for bottoms. Black Ripped Denim jeans are another great alternative bottom to add on your list. Specifically ones that are ripped. It provides an edgy feature to your looks when you get them ripped.
Over the Knee boots: Some outfits just call for over the knee boots. For some it might seem extra, but for some outfits over the knee boots aren’t extra at all. They can spice up your look on so many levels. If you’re wanting a show stopping look, then over the knee boots will get the job done. Try pairing these with a sweater dress, skinny jeans w/a leather jacket, and a skirt/leather jacket combo.
